Terms of Use
Goaloop is a training log, not medical advice. Train sensibly, and check with a qualified professional before starting a new programme.
1. Accepting these terms
Goaloop is provided by the Goaloop team. By downloading or using the Goaloop app you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the app. You must be at least 16, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to use Goaloop. If we make material changes to these terms we will post them here and update the date above, and your continued use means you accept the updated terms.
2. Your account
You sign in with Apple and are responsible for keeping your device and Apple ID secure and for activity under your account. Goaloop is for your personal, non-commercial use. You can delete your account and data at any time from Profile → Delete account.
3. Goaloop Pro subscriptions
Goaloop Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks extra features. It is offered on a monthly and a yearly plan, each starting with a 7-day free trial. Billing is handled by Apple through your Apple ID at the price and billing period shown on the subscription screen before you buy. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends; if you start a paid plan during a free trial, any unused part of the trial is forfeited. You can manage or cancel at any time in your App Store account settings, or from Profile → Goaloop Pro → Manage subscription. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms; we do not process payments or issue refunds directly.
4. Health and safety disclaimer
Goaloop records what you enter and suggests general training structure. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, physiotherapy, or nutrition advice. Always train within your ability, and consult a qualified professional before starting a new programme, especially if you have a health condition or injury. Stop and seek help if you feel unwell or in pain. You use Goaloop and train at your own risk.
5. Acceptable use
Please use Goaloop lawfully. Do not reverse engineer, copy, resell or redistribute the app, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it, or use it to store or share unlawful content. We may suspend access that breaches these terms.
6. Your content
Your logs, plans and notes remain yours. Because Goaloop stores this data on your device, you keep control of it, and you grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the app's features for you. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter.
7. Our intellectual property
The Goaloop name, kangaroo mascot, designs, and app software are owned by Goaloop and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app under these terms; all other rights are reserved.
8. Apple App Store terms
These terms are between you and Goaloop, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Goaloop. To the extent permitted by law, any app warranty is our responsibility, and claims relating to the app — including product liability, legal or regulatory non-compliance, and consumer-protection claims — are handled by us and not Apple. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. prohibited-parties list, as Apple's terms require. Your licence to use Goaloop is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.
9. Service changes and availability
We may add, change, or retire features over time, and the app may occasionally be unavailable. We aim to give notice of material changes where reasonable, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be available or error-free.
10. Disclaimers and liability
Goaloop is provided 'as is' and 'as available'. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and none of this affects the mandatory statutory rights you have as a consumer.
11. Termination
You can stop using Goaloop and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability — will continue to apply.
12. Governing law and your consumer rights
These terms are governed by the laws of Italy. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in the courts of that country; nothing in these terms removes those rights.
